:

Hopefully you already know your life path number, if you don't then please follow the link[1] in the footer of this article. You'll find out exactly how to calculate your life path number. Then come back here.

Back? Ok, Let's begin:

1

Life path numbers 1 and 1:

The nice thing about this combination is that these will be two strong, talented and quite noble individuals who understand each other's goals and desire to achieve perfectly. On the negative side of things, two ones together can find themselves competing with each other. One up manship (no pun intended) can definitely be a problem.

The sad thing about two Life Path number 1's together is that they are often separated by distance or the demands of a career rather than any real friction with each other. For the most part, these two numbers together make a nice pair and if they do manage to stick together they are quite capable of building a financially secure future together that is also filled with excitement and worthwhile goals.

Life path numbers 1 and 2:

In this pairing, one individual is the submissive (the 2) and the other is the dominant partner (the 1) This combination can work well as long as the 2 does not step out of line and demand anything for his or herself. In the case of the 1 paired with the 2, "to rule is truly to serve" if you are the 2.

Often these relationships take very classic traditional forms with the ambitious 1 out conquering the world and the docile 2 at home feathering the nest and figuring out ways to please the 1. Mostly these relationships fall apart when the 1 starts taking the 2 for granted, not giving the 2 enough attention or when the 2 gets sick of playing master and servant.

Life path numbers 1 and 3:

This is a very cheery couple that will likely inspire each other as well as share many good times. The 3 (the number of the performer) will be just challenging and exciting enough to keep the 1 continually interesting. The 3 is also great at pumping the 1's ego as they are very talented when it comes to courting, lovemaking, and entertaining.

They also make a great working relationship with the 3 being the talent or the ideas person and the 1 being the number that makes things happen. Often such a couple is very popular and at the center of a social scene. If a 1 and a 3 do break up it is often due to "creative differences" or too much criticism of each other.

Life path numbers 1 and 4:

This is not a match made in heaven simply because the 4's insecurity makes the 1 very nervous. The 4's emotionally tough past often makes turns them into a control freak which competes directly with the Life Path 1's ambition to also be in control. The result is usually a non-stop catastrophic relationship with plenty of hard-won and barely understood karmic lessons.

Accepting each other for who they are never works with this combination. Often it falls into parent/child type conflicts, codependency and addiction to arguing. It is probably best not to match-make these two numbers at all. However being opposites 1's and 4's are often sexually attracted to each other even if they are not great relationship material.

Life path numbers 1 and 5:

1 and 5's are extraordinarily compatible as both numbers appreciate the need for freedom so they can travel, make contacts, social climb and fulfill their ambitions in general. These two numbers will support each other's drive for independence and actually enjoy "missing each other" if their careers take different directions. This is the best combination of numbers in terms of overall compatibility and it is also good for long distance or online relationships.

Still there are two things that can sabotage this relationship. The first is any insecurity that might cause one number to impose their will on another. Distance or scheduling leads to a permanent split are separating the second threat.

Life path numbers 1 and 6:

This is another relationship disaster waiting to happen. The 6 is a nurturer and caretaker that wants to contain the freedom loving Life Path #1. It is the #6's fondest wish that the 1 focus on nothing else but the 6, the 6's family, setting up house with 6, having children with 6 and spending every single waking moment with the 6. Needless to say the number 1 is absolutely smothered by this attitude.

This relationship only works if the 6 somehow drops his or her tendency to be jealous or possessive. In that case the 1 will then enjoy the same kind of dominant/submissive relationship that he or she does with a 2.

Life path numbers 1 and 7:

Although it does not seem like this relationship can work, it does. The introverted 7 often compliments the extroverted 1 nicely. These two numbers have the ability to take care of each other spiritually and psychologically. The 7 motivates the 1 with inspiration and the 1 motivates the 7 by bringing his or her ideas in the 7.

Another reason this relationship can work is that the 7 is lost in their own world while the 1 is preoccupied with the outer world. Somehow the two of them manage to meet somewhere in between those two worlds. The only way that this relationship goes sour is if one or the other takes the other's temporary lack of focus on the other personally.

Life path numbers 1 and 8:

1 and 8's are not good matches romantically but they can be a good match in business. Usually a 1 can procure needed funding to realize a project from an 8.

Romantically this relationship is a bust. Both 1's and 8's are so assertive and demanding that the relationship degrades into one big ego struggle. Furthermore, relationships between these two life path numbers tend to unrealistic in some way. Either expectations of each other are too high or there are delusions about who the other person really is. If this pair decides to split, the consequences are usually dire and usually include obsession, vengeful activity and other types of destructive behavior.

Life path numbers 1 and 9:

A 9 is not a bad choice for a 1. Initially a 9 brings a selflessness to the relationship that allows the 1 to be the star of the show. If the 9 can maintain this submissive position and let the 1 hog the spotlight then the relationship will go smoothly.

Although 1's generally admire the humanitarian and gracious sides of the compassionate 9 they are also secretly jealous of them sometimes. Usually these two Life Path numbers split up either because the 1 became insensitive to the delicate number 9's feelings or the 9 decided to go out and pursue a spiritual quest or mission on their own.

I hope you've enjoyed learning about the numerology compatibility between the life path numbers, if you haven't already I recommend you calculate your own life path number and that of your partners and see where you come up on the chart above.

Many thanks,

Creeping Thyme (Serpyllum Mother of Thyme) - A perennial creeping thyme for use between paving-stones or as an edging! Mother of Thyme is an ideal choice for planting between walkway stones or bricks and used as a ground cover. Like other thymes, the leaves are highly fragrant; great to inhale as you are walking along the pathway to the front door! This prostrate, mat-forming perennial with slim stems is lined with tiny, oval, hairy leaves which tend to be dark green. Clusters of pale lavender flowers appear in summer on plants that reach 2 - 4 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Grow like other creeping thymes, in well-drained soil in full sun. For best coverage as a groundcover, avoid planting in very cold or wet areas. The top photo gives you a good image of this ground cover plant when it is in full bloom. Above Ground Swimming Pool Covers

One of the easiest things you can do to protect your pool and keep it looking great for many years, is to invest in a quality swimming pool cover. It is a relatively low cost item, that can save you money and a lot of pool maintenance in the long run.

If you own an above ground pool, you will probably want to invest in two different types of covers. The first type of cover will be used during the warm months, whenever you are actually swimming in your pool. This type of cover is commonly known as a solar cover. The way it looks is sometimes compared to an overgrown piece of bubble wrap. It works by not only keeping debris out of the pool, but also by trapping in the heat accumulated by the water during the warm daylight hours. It is usually placed on the swimming pool in the evening when everyone is finished swimming for the day. This type of cover floats freely on the top of the water and can easily be put on or taken off by two people. One person can complete the task with a little bit more effort, but they will most likely end up getting rather wet.

Ground Cover

The second type of cover you will want to own is a winter pool cover. As an owner of an above ground swimming pool, you'll find that this type of cover is absolutely necessary if you want to keep your pool free of debris. These large, heavy duty covers are generally made of some type of very durable synthetic material that can resist whipping winds and unforgiving winter weather. Most of these covers drape over the entire pool and are strapped down or weighted down along the outside wall of the pool.

Both types of pool covers mentioned here, cost no more than fifty or sixty dollars for most above ground pools. The time and hassle that they save pool owners is well worth the expense.

Ground Beef And Rice Stuffed Zucchini

This zucchini stuffed with ground meat and rice is in our top ten list of our kitchen. As I wrote before, zucchini is not our favorite vegetable and we always look for some different recipes for it. However, this stuffed one is an exception. This is one of the most common traditional Turkish dishes and we adore it so much that I often make it. I should have put it here before, but we were so impatient to wait for taking a photo when I made it. I made it at night this time not to eat it before the photos as we take photos during day.

Ingredients (servings: 2)

Ground Cover

- 4 middle size zucchinis

- 1 tomato

- 2 onions, diced

- ¼ cup rice

- 150g ground meat

- 2 tbsp tomato paste (1 for filling, 1 for sauce)

- 1 lemon, squeezed

- A few leaves of dill, minced

- A few leaves of fresh mint, minced

- 5 tbsp olive oil

- Salt

- Black pepper

Wash the zucchinis and cut them into two. Then grab a small spoon and scoop out their pulp. The walls of zucchinis shouldn't be too thick or too thin (about ¼ inch). Sprinkle a pinch of salt inside each of them.

For the filling; Mix diced onions, rice, ground meat, 1 tbsp tomato paste, lemon juice, minced dill and fresh mint, 3 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp salt and black pepper in a bowl.

Stuff the zucchinis with this mixture, but be careful, it shouldn't be too tight because when rice and ground meat cook, they'll get bigger. You can gently press on the filling while stuffing the zucchinis. Place each stuffed zucchini upright in a large pot.

Slice the tomato and put a slice on each stuffed zucchini to cover the filling mixture.

Dilute 1 tbsp tomato paste with water and pour it into the pot. Then pour some water (shouldn't cover the zucchini, leave it when the water reaches the middle of zucchinis). Cover the lid on the pot, put it over the lowest heat and cook it for about 1 and a half hour.

You can serve it with some yogurt and garnish with dill leaves.

Above Ground Swimming Pools - Easy to Set Up and Affordable to Maintain

When it comes to easy setup and affordable maintenance, nothing beats above ground pools. In recent years, above ground swimming pools have rapidly grown in popularity because they are relatively inexpensive compared to in ground pools. In addition, the flexibility of swimming pools above ground is unparalleled. They can be removed more easily and can even be moved. In the past, many home owners had reservations about above ground pools because they felt they were not as durable as in ground alternatives. However, recent developments in the construction of above ground pools mean that they can usually last between 15 and 20 years so long as you keep up proper maintenance and replace the liner every five to seven years. Intex above ground pools are an excellent example of a durable above ground pool that will provide your family with years of swimming entertainment.

Above Ground Pool Setup

Ground Cover

Generally speaking, installing an above ground pool will require a few similar steps. Keep in mind that whatever above ground swimming pool you ultimately purchase will vary some with regards to installation but these guidelines should provide you with a sense of the work involved. For example, smaller above ground pools can usually be inflated or installed directly on your lawn while larger pools may require sod removal and site leveling. Still, the basic steps involved with setting up your new above ground pool will be discussed.

First, choose a suitable place to put your pool. Although this seems obvious, there are some careful considerations you should make. Pick a place where the ground is level and void of large rocks and stones. Also, make sure you have access to an outdoor electrical outlet. Your pool should be in an area of your yard with sun exposure and away from trees and bushes which tend to lead to excess debris in your pool.

Next, it is recommended that you level an area that is larger than your pool size. For example, if you have chosen a 12 foot pool then your base should be closer to 15 feet in diameter. You can level the area using a straight 2x4, which can be purchased at your local building supply store, and a spirit level. Above ground pools with an inflatable ring can usually be set up on the grass but installing metal frame above ground pools would require that you remove the sod. Still, lay the 2x4 on the ground with the spirit level on top and ensure that the bubble is centered. Turn the board 90 degrees and check the level again. You should repeat this process over the entire area of the above ground swimming pool base. Should the area not be level, you can add soil to low regions.

Once you have created a level base for your above ground pool, you can start setting up the pool. Every above ground pool is not the same with regards to setup so you should follow the manufacturer's instructions. Generally speaking, you would assemble the side walls, insert the liner, and connect the top rails. This is an extremely simplified explanation of above ground swimming pool assembly because not all pools are the same. Still, once you have the structure of your above ground pool set up you can begin to fill the pool with water. Ensure that the water depth is equal around the pool, as uneven water levels can cause excess stress on the walls of your above ground pool. Finally, you'll be ready to install the filter system and other extras for your pool by following the manufacturer's instructions.

Above Ground Swimming Pool Maintenance

Although maintenance for above ground swimming pools tends to be more straightforward, it is still important that you take care of your pool. First of all, you should check the chlorine levels daily to ensure that your pool is safe for swimming. You can purchase chlorine floaters that regularly administer chlorine to your above ground pool. Also, you should keep your above ground swimming pool covered when not in use to prevent debris from building up. This day to day maintenance means that your above ground pool can be enjoyed without stress.

As far as closing your pool is concerned, it is recommended that you follow the manufacturers' instructions for proper winterization.

Vines and Ground Covers

Here are some good vines and ground covers for you to use in the NORTHWEST

BEARBERRY - A low dense mat like broad-leaved evergreen thrives in sun or shade and prefers a sandy soil. It is a native plant and may be collected from the wild; however, nursery-grown plants establish more easily. Its scientific name is Arctostaphylos Uvaursi.

Ground Cover

DWARF HOLLY-GRAPE - A native plant, known as Mahonia repens, creeps by underground roots and forms a good cover to 10 inches high. Its broad leaves are handsome, and it will live in any soil if it has sun or part-day shade.

CLEMATIS - There are many species and in the Northwest Clematis paniculata is a semi-evergreen and vigorous vine. If permitted, it will reach 30 feet. It likes an alkaline soil and full sun. It produces fragrant white flowers in fall.

COMMON PERIWINKLE - A popular ground cover with pale blue flowers in early spring, Vinca minor will thrive in sun or part shade. Because it will grow in an acid soil it is frequently used as a broad leaved cover between acid-loving rhododendrons and is useful beneath trees where a lawn is difficult to maintain. It grows 10 inches high.

ROSE DAPHNE - A plant with a preference for acid soil, it will trail over banks and walls and is effective in a rock garden. Known as Daphne Cneoram, its broad leaves are attractive throughout the year and its pale pink flowers are beautiful in spring. It forms a dense mat-like growth in sun or part shade.

WINTER JASMINE - A hardy shrub to 10 degrees below zero, it will make a ground cover 3 feet high or its trailing branches, which spread 15 feet, may be trained on a trellis to display its yellow flowers in early spring except West of the Cascades, where it blooms in winter. It likes an acid soil and full sun. You will find it listed as Jasminum nudiflorum.

ENGLISH IVY - A garden vine which clings to walls and tree trunks, often it goes as high as 90 feet, but creeping along the ground it rarely exceeds 8 inches in height. Known as Hedera Helix it is found in many nurseries and is easily propagated from cuttings. Its broad leaves are a good green all year and it will live in sun or shade. It is not particular as to soil type.

ST. JOHNS WORT - Known as Hypericum Mosericmum, this is a fine ground cover, 2 feet tall, for the coastal areas, Puget Sound, Snake River valley and protected valleys. It likes an acid soil and sun or part shade. It has attractive yellow flowers in summer.

WINTERCREEPER - Both Euonymus Fortunei vegetus and the species minimum are used as low ground covers and as climbing vines in all parts of the Northwest. They prefer an acid soil and do well in sun or shade.

Inexpensive Ways to Make Trees and Ground Cover For Your Model Railroad Layout

One of the most exciting aspects of model railroading is creating the scenery to enhance the landscape of a layout. The scenery is what adds the personality and interest to a layout to make it truly unique.

There are all sorts of scenery accessories you can purchase from online model train stores, but many things can be made from everyday items around the home. You do not always need to spend money when there are things around you for free.

Ground Cover

Twigs from your back yard are a good example. They can be used for making small trees and shrubs, or be cut to resemble logs. There is no need to paint them, because they are already the right color. Small wooden meat skewers (from the supermarket) can also be used to make logs and they are very inexpensive to buy.

The same goes for adding grass to your layout. You can purchase some very good products such as "Static Grass Flock" to provide ground cover, or you can make your own. Some model railroaders use a mix of ready-to-use grasses from the hobby store, and combine this, with there own home made grass recipe.

Gather some fresh mulberry leaves and dry them in a microwave oven. After they are dried out, drop them in a kitchen blender and you have instant ground cover. The best thing is; it costs you virtually nothing to make. Store it in a plastic bag for when you need it.

The only disadvantage with making your own ground cover is you will not necessarily know how long it will last when compared to the bought stuff. Many of the ground cover products from a hobby store will have been treated to help them maintain their color and withstand temperature and humidity variances over time. Some of them are non-flammable and nontoxic, so you need to decide what is important to you.

A lot of model railroaders use dried kitchen herbs for leaves and ground cover. They mix different herbs (eg. thyme, oregano and parsley) for different effects. When doing this it is best to lay some newspaper underneath, as it can be a messy process. That way you can catch and reuse any herbs that do not stick the first time.

Sea Foam (also called "Forest in a Box") is a popular material for making small inexpensive trees. You can bend it to look like trees and then spray on some adhesive and sieve on some flock. It is usually best to mix a few little pieces together rather than use just one piece for an entire tree.

Fine brass wire can be used to strengthen the trunks and branches. Torn up pieces of masking tape can be wound around the tree trunk to add some width. This can then be sealed with a mixture of wall filler and PVA white glue.

You can even add sprinklings of kitchen herbs as mentioned earlier. You can then spray the trees all over with matt varnish, or spray them (upside down) with a mix of white glue and water. You then leave them to dry overnight.

Lichen is also ideal for making shrubs and trees. It is very versatile and looks good as mass foliage and undergrowth on a train layout. It is also inexpensive and easy to work with. You can purchase it in a range of colors that can be used separately or mixed together.

So, there are many, many ways to make ground cover and trees for your model railroad layout. It is a lot of fun and you might want to try some different options to see what works best for you. The point I am really making here; is that things on your train layout do not always need to be expensive. You just need to be a little creative in your approach. Have fun!
